susan kuchinskas, longtime media maven, wrote a nice piece about our überbabe open content model, on her weblog, the 360. an excerpt is below:
Überbabe not only lets fans play with the media, it will pay some of them to do it.
Überbabe is a mythos that contains 100 characters including überbabe herself, the “mother of all Supergirls.” There’s a timeline of events that starts in prehistory and stretches into the future. It plays out in a variety of media, including comics and graphic novels, music, merchandise, real-world get-togethers and now within an online community launched last week at www.uberbabe.com. The überbabe media properties are owned by sugarlab.
